WELCOME TO THE SOUTHPORT HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY!
​
The Southport Horticultural Society (a not-for-profit organization) has been part of the Saugeen Shores community since the 1970’s with members ranging from beginner to Master Gardeners.
We promote a love of gardening by:
* Holding monthly meetings from April until November that are very social with informative and
dynamic guest speakers.
* “Member-only” special events throughout the year.
* We hold an annual plant sale in May, which is our major fundraiser.
* Maintain several public gardens in the area thanks to dedicated volunteers.
* Award at least one annual bursary to a graduating Saugeen District Secondary School student to
help further their education in the horticultural field.

If you enjoy getting together with other gardeners, love plants, gardening and our environment and want to learn and share ideas, please consider joining us. New members are always welcome!

Port Elgin Legion
630 Green St, Port Elgin
Meetings begin at 7:00 pm
Come by at 6:00 pm for a social hour before the meeting :)
